Introduction

Acquaintance with the best samples of English poetry and prose, ability thoughtfully to read and understand fiction in unity of the maintenance and the form promote all-round complete development of the person, formation of an inner world of the person, creation of conditions for formation at it to inte
al requirement for continuous perfection, for realisation of the creative possibilities.
In this connection it is necessary to pay the big attention to development of deep understanding of a work of art and inculcation of skills of its independent analysis.
At the first stage it represents the conversation organisation on the questions directed on elementary interpretation of a context.
1. Who is the story about?
2. What do we know about the main character?
3. Do you like him (her) or not? Why?
4. Which character do you like more? Why?
5. What pictures can you imagine while reading the story? What helps you to see them?
6. Do you like the story? Why? Etc.
Later the analytical conversation is under construction at two levels:
• Value level (abilities to allocate in the text the basic thought, a detail illustrating the basic thought, the facts conce
ing the defined theme to generalise the stated facts to establish communications between events)
- And sense level (abilities to deduce judgement on the basis of the facts to draw a conclusion to estimate the stated facts to understand implied sense, idea of the text to find art means of expressiveness and to define their role, a place in a narration).
The degree of luminosity in literature of this theme (and imenno- lingvo-stilisticheskogo analysis) is complete enough. In particular sufficiently neplokho is described method of analysis - what structural groups in it are selected (types of analysis on one or another signs). The morphological analysis of text is most full studied, and it neudivitel\'no, because a morpheme (then, actually, what this type of analysis is based on) is main and, that most...

John Mortimer\'s work is very interesting from the point of view of the lingvo-stylistic analysis. We can meet here the basic receptions of expressiveness of literary genre on all levels analysis - lexical, stylistic, phonetic and morphological. Certainly, by volume part - it is a morphological analysis, because a word is the least unit of text and from the different receptions of word-formation nowhere to go.
Analogical appearance is business and with phonetic part, but as a rule, phonetic receptions are more frequent than all used in a poetry, than in prose, although, as we see, and here they are in an enough body.
A lexical analysis rotined that text of work is pierced by irony. Here - it is a basic lexical reception, both the examples of metaphors were met in spite of the fact that and metonimiy. But last also anymore incident to poetic works, therefore here are in.
Also often in text meet the family \"jargons\", about which it was not mentioned in basic part of work. Such as

… Blah, blah, blah….
… and all damn\'d!\"…
…\'Mumbo-jumbo,…
… having hanky-panky…

It is the part of colloquial vocabulary which reflects character of hero in this case. The use of vocabulary of similar family gives more deep emotional colouring to work, doing his heroes (author) nearer to the reader.
