We have to inform you that though our side is doing its best to successfully fulfil obligations under Contract No …., the progress of work causes our conce

We find it necessary to remind you that during the talks in Moscow you suggested we made maximal use of your local personnel during the construction and invite local firms as our subcontractors.
The progress of work however shows that the local subcontractors recommended by you are unable to implement the work in term.
Besides the schedule of construction of the settlement for our specialists has constantly been disrupted which causes a delay in their arrival in your country.
Moreover the understanding was reached in Moscow that your local organisations would procure and deliver the equipment and materials (specified in the enclosure to this letter) to the construction site. Unfortunately the equipment has not been handed over to our side so far – this drastically affects the progress of work.
To fulfil the rest of the work in strict accordance with the design documents, our organisations will have to send additionally more than twenty five specialists to your country.
Understanding that only a strict observance of obligations by the sides will enable us to finish the construction of the project in time, we ask you to consider the letter carefully and take the required steps.
