The study and description of terminological lexicon is one of the most important directions of lexicology and lexicography. Linguists appeal to this area in the theoretical and applied aspects caused both by the need for reflection and synthesis of accumulated research facts as well as the practical needs of a variety of special areas of knowledge.
The diploma paper’s main idea is the statement that English theatrical terminology can be used as a means of English teaching.
The rationale of this research is caused by several factors. First, it is the necessity of study and analysis of the specificity of theatrical terminology in mode
English system. Second, the relevance of research is related with the need to study the use of theatrical terminology as an extracurricular way of English teaching.
The books and articles of the following mode
linguistics in the field of lexicology constitute the theoretical and methodological background of the study: M. Mironova, V. Leichik, M. Volodina, T. Kandelaki, A. Superanskaya, R. Kobrin, B. Golovin, L. Buyanova, A. Adelstein, M. Cabré, K. Kageura, H. Sonneveld and others [3, 4, 7, 14, 16, 18, 22, 29, 36, 37, 44].

English was the subject of just several special linguistic researches. This problem still remains relevant and requires detailed study.
Object of research: The object of this study is the terminological lexical layer.

English.
The data sources are represented by 400 theatrical terminology units that were selected from the dictionaries of theatre terms [20, 21, 27, 30, 33, 35, 38, 42], specified in the list of references.

The purpose of the current study was to disclose the specificity of theatrical terminology in mode
English system and study the feasibility of theatrical terminology using as an extracurricular way of English teaching. This research extends our knowledge of theatrical terminology.
To achieve the aim, a number of objectives were raised by us in the beginning of the research. By the following stated objectives, a comprehensive study of English theatrical terminology was conducted.
The following conclusions can be drawn from the present study:
1) The study of English terminology was the subject of linguistic research of a large number of native and foreign scientists who studied the descriptions of terms meanings, their semantics, functioning form and structure.
2) Theatre is a branch of the performing arts conce
ed with acting out stories in front of an audience using combinations of speech, gesture, mime, puppets, music, dance, sound and spectacle. Theatre art tends to reflect life and contributes uniquely to the spiritual, intellectual, social and aesthetic growth of an individual. Theatre Art provides an important means of understanding, constructing, appreciating and communicating social and cultural values, interpreting, valuing and transmitting the traditions of the past and explain, celebrating and challenging the present and imaging the future. Theater art generates theatrical terminological system.
3) Theatrical terminological system has been the subject of study of many Russian and foreign linguists who investigated the lexical structure of theater language, provided structural-semantic and functional-pragmatic analysis of theatrical terms and compile theatrical dictionaries. However, a layer of English theatrical terminology is constantly growing and its study remains relevant.
4) The investigation of the theatrical terminology morphological structure has shown that 400 research data are represented by simple words (52 %), complex words (6 %)...
